Almost impossible to use and local news is mixed in with stuff I dont care about. The pop up ad is sooo annoying, and it pops up every time you switch stories. Hate it b

cant do anything on the app without ads constantly popping up. even when looking at the weather map each time u move the area around a bit an ad pops up & takes over the screen.

I would say this is a decent news app but with the constant pop up ad from Liberty and the poor design of the scrolling (you have to scroll back to the top most of the time to get the back button again) the app has definitely seen better days. Come on NBC4 get with the program!

May go with another news channel app since they constantly throw up annoying pop-up ads every time you move an inch along with web site redirects that open your browser or App Store. There are several smaller issues as well. Do not recommend.

I rely on NBC4 for news, but Im done with this app. You cant read more than one story before being redirected by the Liberty ad over and over. Plus, its ridiculous that you have to scroll all the way to the top of the screen to return to the home screen. Ill download it again when these problems are addressed.

Too many ads!! You can barely click on a story because the list moves constantly to inject some type of ad and you end up clicking on ads instead of stories! I love nbc4 on tv but after a year of bull* Im deleting this app. Do not bother downloading. (The developers should check out other nearby cities that manage to get their ad quota but not overwhelm their customer base with obstructing ads!)

I get at least a DOZEN notifications per day on my phone - and theyre mostly for idiotic "breaking news" stories, not anything important. When I do actually want to find out more about a particular story theyve sent me, I click on the link, only to be taken to the app and it malfunctions telling me "sorry, that story is not available right now." This error occurs every single time. There are so many ads that they make it difficult to read articles, watch clips/videos, or pretty much navigate ANY part of the app at all without being bombarded. Just not worth it. Incredibly aggravating.

Liberty ads every time you try to scroll. Open an article, Liberty ad. Close the article, watch the ad again. Try to close the ad, redirected to liberty website. Hasnt updated news in 2 days now. Going back to 10TV.

This would be a great app but the pop ups and constant lock ups forced me to delete. I have 10tv & Wsyx 28tv. Dont waiste your time on this app.

All the continual "breaking news" bulletins are a waste. I was waiting for one to tell us that Clinton passed gas. The weather section is bad. You need to find out who set up 10s web site.

News updates are great except I cant see the story when I click the notification because the story feed will not update. I dont mind the ads either, only way its free.

This might be the worst news app Ive ever used. It constantly locks up and Im so sick of seeing the Liberty Jeep pop up add that Ill never shop there just because of it. Ive deleted the app, save yourself the time and do not download it.

So disappointed in this app. I watch NBC faithfully but I feel the need to try a competitors app. The constant Liberty pop up is so irritating that I would never purchase from them just because of the irritation factor. And of course by association the NBC app. Every time I try to read more about a news item I am afraid to scroll for fear that I might trigger another annoying pop up. Which are imbedded every where. And as for the breaking news. Basically another shooting. Breaking news is a school lock down, or a 9/11 or the president has died. Truly a bad experience. Breaking news would be that the nbc team has created a new app with some dignity and self respect. This one is just bad.

I absolutely love the breaking news updates. I dont always have time in my day to read full articles, so to get flash updates, I really appreciate it. Furthermore, I believe the updates are relevant updates. The only thing the app could use is better visuals.

Its a great app to have if you live in the Columbus area great for current events and up to date news and information.

Use this along with a couple of other local news apps. The school closing section leaves much to be desired - difficult to read, and almost impossible to find our district. Other news station apps have this one beat in that category. News stories dont seem to be current other than maybe a couple at the top, all the others range from days to weeks old. Needs improvement.

As the title says, advertisements are created to look like new stories and hidden amongst the news. Click bait traps

I love being able to watch NBC4 through this app. We moved an hour away from Columbus and this allows me to watch Channel 4 news instead of the local affiliate. I think its a higher quality news program and have missed my favorites Colleen Marshall, Ellie Merritt and Cabot Rea.

The news stories are good, but the ads are very obtrusive and are formatted exactly like the news stories.

The pop up ads and the ads made to look like news stories are so disruptive! Please change your page layout! Also... Not very many updates on the weekends! I have to go to other apps for updates! I think this is very poor!
